Service mechanic

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and enthusiastic Bike Mechanic to join our growing team! 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on all types of bicycles, including adjustments to gears, brakes, wheels, and other components. 

  • Conduct full bike overhauls and tune-ups. 

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with efficiency and precision. 

  • Assist with assembling new bikes and custom builds. 

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and giving advice on bike care. 

  • Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring tools and parts are well-maintained. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and repair techniques. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a bike mechanic (2+ years preferred). 

  • Strong knowledge of bike mechanics and repair techniques. 

  • Ability to work with a wide range of bike models and brands. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. 

  • Previous experience with e-bikes is a plus, but not required. 

  • Passion for cycling is a must!

Position Overview: 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate at Cranked, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers select the best bicycles and accessories to fit their needs. You’ll work with a passionate team and have the opportunity to share your love for cycling with others! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on bicycle selection, accessories, and repairs. 

  • Assist customers with finding the right gear based on their cycling needs, goals, and budget. 

  • Maintain knowledge of current products, trends, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers. 

  • Process sales transactions and ensure an efficient checkout experience. 

  • Help maintain store organization, cleanliness, and inventory levels. 

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by offering personalized advice and support. 

  • Assist with bike assembly, repairs, and fittings when necessary. 

  • Stay up-to-date with cycling trends, products, and local riding areas to provide expert advice to customers. 

Requirements: 

  • Passion for cycling and a basic knowledge of bicycles and accessories (training provided if needed). 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. 

  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable with a strong work ethic. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

  • Previous retail experience is a plus but not required. 

  • Availability to work weekends and some evenings.
